Basic design of LABTECH LT-HLS testing stations
When designing and manufacturing a testing station the needs of the customer are always carefully consideredwith regards to what products will be tested.
The initial parameters established for the design of a testing station are the selection of a detection method and a type of the test. With relation to ever growing quality requirements including maximum acceptable leak rate, most testing stations are designed to use a helium mass spectrometer detector. However, some requirements are fulfilled by simpler leak detection systems using a sniffer test or an accumulation test. For hermetically-sealed components which cannot be pressurized or evacuated a bomb test is used.
Each testing station is build from modules made from aluminium industrial components. The construction of helium mass spectrometer detectors is based on an optimazed design of a vacuum chamber (vacuum chambers in multichamber systems) including all fittings needed the tested components and minimum volume of the vacuum chamber. The detector is designed to reduce the testing time and lower its running cost (especially hellium consumption).
Each testing station is controlled by an up-to-date modular system PLC or an industrial PC with an appropriate software. Software is designed specifically for each individual testing station based on the customer's needs and requirements. The handling of the testing station is simple and intuitive using a touch screen.
Each testing station is delivered with complete documentation and CE certificate.
